I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and fantastic start to the New Year.  We spent 10 days in Walpole after Christmas and it was just what I needed. It was very relaxing and definitely not as hot down there.  We went with the 4wd Club and there were about 14 other families of varying ages and sizes and it was simply wonderful to get away from the ratrace and forget about every day hustle and bustle.  We enjoyed a few 4wd trips which usually ended at the beach, lots of fantastic fishing (which gave me lots of warm fuzzies about our childhood fishing hollidays in Mandurah) and lots of reading and relaxing along with the odd nibbles and drinks around the fire at night.

I hope some of you managed to get away for a while and put your feet up.  Ok, now let’s get rolling with another year!
