Square circles?

May 15th, 2009 by Louise

This is my first attempt at using Circle Circus since receiving it at Convention.  We made some gorgeous make and takes with this and I am hoping it will be a good one for masculine cards too, I just need to find the time to play with it a little more.

In real life this card is crisp and bright but it hasn’t photographed particularly well here for some reason.  This card was inspired by AngeD. I love the idea of spotlighting certain aspects of images by punching them out and this is what I’ve done here.

Stamp set:  Circle Circus, Occasional Greetings
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss, Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP
Ink:  Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Bashful Blue
Accesories:  Real Red 1/2″ striped grosgrain ribbon

Thanks for looking.  I have my two boys home today after dental surgery yesterday so I’d best get back to my fetching and serving (ooops I mean nursing).  It’s certainly not a nice feeling watching your babes drift off to sleep in an operating theatre but I am truly grateful it was only dentistry work and not something more concerning.  Sam came out bouncing with energy and Matt was sick from the anaesthetic and is still a bit green today.  I have to say though that I am quite enjoying the lazy day with them – we are all still in our pj’s!

Happy stamping!
