New rubber!
Hi. Here I was thinking we had slipped nicely into cooler weather and today it’s a hot one again. Oh well, variety in life is good hey?
Here are a couple of cards I have quickly made with my new stamp set Good Friend. This will be available in the new Ideas Book & Catalogue due out next week on 1 April. It has a gorgeous bird in the set too but I haven’t inked him up yet. You’ll have to come back later for a peak at him.
Ok, this first one is actually using the Mojo Monday challenge layout because as I was working on it I realised it was almost identical to the sketch so I tweaked it a bit and there we go, a sketch challenge done!

Stamp set: Good Friend
Cardstock: Old Olive, Red Riding Hood (a new In-Colour), Pumpkin Pie and Summer Picnic designer paper
Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Red Riding Hood
Accessories: Scallop Edged Punch, wide grosgrain Olive ribbon, Fire rhinestone brad, black marker
This next one is using the same stamp set but a different layout.
Stamp set: Good Friend
Cardstock: Baja Breeze (another new In-Colour), Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, So Safron designer print series paper
Inks: Baja Breeze, So Safron, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: wide Chocolate grosgrain ribbon, Stamp-a-majig, gold and vintage brads
Thanks for looking! We are about to head off to the school disco! Should be an interesting night although a little warm.

I love both of these cards, Lou! I especially like how you did the second layout. The color combos on both cards are perfect!

Lou, these cards are great. I’m looking forward to a couple of days home next week so I can get into my stamping again
