Love Note challenge

October 9th, 2008 by Louise

Here are my two attempts at Makeesha’s Love Note challenge.  We were asked to make a birthday love note and I admit I sort of forgot about the birthday part on the first one but love it anyway.  I pinched this idea from a card I saw a long time ago.  A Love Note is simply a gift card measuring 3×3 inches.

Stamp set:  Priceless
Card stock:  Pretty in Pink, Basic Grey, Whisper White
Inks:  Basic Grey, Pretty in Pink

This is more a boy’s birthday card, which I think my new Star Punches are going to help me out with a lot!

Stamp set:  Itty Bitty background, Basic Phrases
Inks:  Basic Black, White craft ink
Cardstock:  Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi and East Coast Prep designer papers
Accessories:  Real Red grosgrain ribbon, Large and small Star Punches, Bold Brights buttons

Thanks for looking.  Back soon.

Hi Louise, I’ve just seen the love note that Keesha chose but I have to say, I think she should have picked your “Priceless” one. It’s much nicer. Cheers, Leanne.
