I love Christmas crafts!
Hi everyone! Thanks for the well wishes for a speedy recovery. It seems to have worked as I’m feeling pretty good and all is well. I’m still resting up and my family have been extremely supportive with all the household chores as I’m not to stretch or bend too much just yet so I’ve been making the most of some rest time and have been a little inspired about Christmas crafts.
I have dabbled in some new Christmas decs and have just fallen in love with the new Season of Joy stamp set from the mini catalogue and Dashing designer papers. Here’s a pic of some of my creations to date.

Above are some Christmas decorations, a bauble, a CD gift holder, a card and a gift card all using the Dashing papers and/or the Season of Joy stamp set, oh and the tree from Fun & Fast Notes. Simple items but just by using designer papers, adding in some ribbon, buttons, punches, white gel pen or glitter, everything comes to life!
These gorgeous little Chrissie Decs are made by using the Scallop Circle Punch (still so hard to beat as my most versatile punch). The one on the left is using the Wintergreen designer papers and the right is Dashing designer papers. You will also spot the great use of pearls and beads from the Pretties Kit.
The lighting in this pic is not the best but I just love this card. It uses the Season of Joy stamp set with Soft Sky and Always Artichoke cardstock and inks, together with the Wintergreen papers. A touch of bling with dazzling diamonds and the two-way glue pen, together with a rhinestone brad from the Pretties Kit and some Soft Sky stitched ribbon and I think it’s gorgeous if I do say so myself!
Ok, that’s it for today. I hope to be back soon with a date for my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack class to be held in October.
Happy stamping!
Lou
