Gift tote with cards
Hi again. I’d like to share with you a gift a made for my girlfriend Kerry (hi!) for her birthday last week. This is a tote bag with cards and envelopes using my favourite colours and papers at the moment.
I have used Basic Gray cardstock to make the bag and layered Baja Breeze with some paper piercing, then more Basic Gray and a piece of the Urban Garden DSP which is just so hard to go past it’s so beautiful! I’ve then added some Baja Breeze double striped ribbon and the sentiment is from Occasional Greetings.

These are the cards I made to go in it. I have used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set for most of them, which is also a new favourite. Oh, let’s face it, really there are so many new favourites! Papers are from Urban Garden and Urban Oasis and colours are Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, Close to Cocoa, Kiwi Kiss. The card on the left is using the faux metal technique which I will show you more closely in another post soon.
From the minute I saw this gorgeous bag and card set presented by Marelle Taylor at Convention this month, I was itching to make it. Thanks Marelle for the inspiration! I can’t wait to make more in various themes and colours. Such a gorgeous gift!
Have a great day. I’m off to do the chores!
