Gift card box

August 31st, 2008 by Louise

Hi!  I found this gorgeous little gift card box on Paul Goff’s blog a little while ago and I just had to give it a try with some of my new Summer Picnic papers and Die Cut Blooms from the Mini Catalogue.  It holds four 4″ x 4″ gift cards.

I have used Ballet Blue and Bashful Blue cardstock for the box and the square trim on the front of the box (which has a velcro dot on the back for a fastener) together with a variety of papers from the Summer Picnic range and a few of the Die Cut Blooms finished off with a rhinestone from the Fire Circles.  I realise now I should have taken a pic from the side and will try and do that tomorrow for you,

For the cards I have again used the Summer Picnic papers and Die Cut Blooms together with the fabulous scallop and circle punches, and wide Celery & Old Olive ribbons.  The cardstock and inks are Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery.

I am really pleased with how this has turned out and is such a great little gift. I will have to try some more in other papers.

Right, I’m off to bed.  Talk soon. Goodnight!

Lou
