Eastern Blooms
I have had lots of fun playing with the Eastern Blooms set from the Summer Mini Catalogue and so I thought I’d share a few different cards I’ve made with it lately.
Firstly, this is a birthday card I made for one of my school mum girflfriends. We have become really close over the last couple of years and I value her friendship a lot, so what better stamp to use than this wording:
I CASEd this card from Splitcoast Stampers but can’t find the link now to the original. I just love the large flower from this set. The stamps along the bottom of the card are made up of one stamp with three different flowers on it, so I just repeated it once.
Stamp set: Eastern Blooms, Occasional Greetings
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Bali Breeze designer paper
Ink: Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Old Olive and Not Quite Navy Markers, Wide grosgrain Old Olive ribbon, Mat Pack, Fire Rhinestone Brads
Next is a card I did for ‘CASE it Saturday’ for one of the demonstrator forums I belong to which basicaly means find a card you like and use it as a base and add your own touch. Here is the original and this is my take on it.

Stamp Set: Eastern Blooms, Polka Dot
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Real Red, Whisper White
Inks: Basic Grey, Real Red
Accessories: Real Red and Basic Black markers, Real Red wide grosgrain ribbon, Fire rhinestone brad.
The next card is using my favourite colour combo of the moment, which is Certainly Celery (always a fave), Regal Rose and Rose Red. I am loving my new scallop edged punch and the wide grosgrain Regal Rose is one of my favourite embellishments.

Stamp Sets: Eastern Bloosm, Occasional Greetings
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Bali Breeze designer papers
Inks: Rose Red
Accessories: Scallop Edged Punch, Mat Pack, Dazzling Diamonds, Two Way Glue Pen, Soft Subtles brads, wide Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon
Well, I suppose it might be time to go and play with a different set for a while and see what I can come up with.
Take care and for any of those involved in the Victoria bushfires through family or friends, my thoughts are with you.
