Double pocket gift bag
Well, this morning I sent my two boys off to school and whilst my baby had to be peeled off my arm to go into Year One I knew he would be fine soon enough. Why do they have to break our hearts like that hey? So whilst the house is so extremely quiet I thought I’d do a little updating on here.
I made this double pocket gift bag and gift card set for my niece’s birthday on Christmas Eve and I just came across the pics so thought I’d show you. Hi Katie

These gifts bags are so simple to make just with a 12×12 piece of designer paper. I have chosen the Old Olive piece from the Fall Flowers range. I just LOVE the Flower Fusion felt flowers and the colours are gorgeous too so I decided to base my cardstock and papers around those colours of Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red.

Here is a side view showing you the double pocket. I put two gift cards in each and depending upon how much dimension your card has, you could possibly fit some more in. Once I had the bag assembled I added some wide grosgrain ribbon and a few of the Flower Fusion felt flowers with rhinestone brads. I also used my horizontal slot punch and threaded some ribbon through for the handles. I think they are a gorgeous gift!
Cardstock: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Fall Flowers designer papers
Inks: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip
Stamp Sets: Boho Background, Happy Thoughts, Short & Sweet
Accessories: Circle Scallop Punch, Circle Punches, Flower Fusion, Rhinestone Brads, Vintage Brads, Scallop Edge Punch, wide Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon, Horizontal Slot Punch.
The Flower Fusion is available in the Summer Mini until 31 March. Don’t miss out, they are gorgeous!
Happy back to school to all those mums wishing to get stuck into their craft!
