Come in spinner!
This week at my monthly stamp club meeting we made spinner cards and everyone loved them! We had a great night as always. I was really happy with how they turned out so thought I’d share them with you.
This is the one we made at club which is using the In the Stars stamp set and Ginger Blossom papers only available in the Summer Mini until the end of this month.
Stamps: In the Stars (summer mini), It’s Your Birthday
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Ginger Blossom designer paper. Ruby Red
Inks: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Word Window Punch, River Rock double stitched ribbon, Stamp-ama-jig, Dimensionals, 5c pieces
It’s a bit hard to tell from still pics but if you haven’t seen a spinner card before, basically the star spins up and down the word window punch hole and is very effective ‘in real life’. I have used 5c pieces and dimensionals to make the spinner. I used Confetti white cardstock to layer the designer paper on because it is thin and thought it would effect the spinner but if you use normal cardstock you wouldn’t need to do this.
Here are a few other examples I made this week:

Stamps: Life’s a Breeze, All in the Family
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Real Red, Confetti White
Inks: Not Quite Navy, Real Red, Summer Sun, Creamy Caramel
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Markers, Dimensionals, 5c pieces

Stamps: Boho Backgrounds
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Inks: Basic Gray, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose
Accessories: Scallop Punch, 1″ circle punch, rhinestone brad (from Pretties Kit), wide double stitched Regal Rose ribbon (Summer Mini), Basic Gray taffeta ribbon, stamp-am-a-jig
It was so much fun to make these and once I started I could see all sorts of ideas for spinners.
I am holding a class in my home this coming Friday, 20 March at 10am and we will be making a spinner card along with 2 other projects. I have a couple of spaces left if you are interested in coming along for a cuppa and some ‘you’ time!
Cheers
