Clean & Simple Challenge 98
Well hello! Sorry it’s been a while between posts. We’ve been busy doing some work on the house (or rather paying other people to do some work on the house) and our rooms have been in a bit of turmoil so not much access to my craft room. It’s also school holidays here so we have been very busy with various activities. This week the weather has really turned so looks like a few days at home.
I’ve enjoyed focussing on the house and finally seeing things taking shape so I have enjoyed the break to be honest but it now seems I’ve tossed out my mojo with the rubbish!
As the weather was so yuck yesterday I thought I would spend some time in my craft room prepping for my Club meeting and upcoming swaps etc, however everything I touched just did not work! I have quite a few half finished projects on the floor in disgust! So I thought this morning I would start with a simple layout and challenge to get me off to a positive note and hopefully things will progress from there.
My card is based on the Clean and Simple Challenge #98 although I have changed it slightly to suit the effect I was after.
Here is the sketch:

and here is my card:

Stamp Sets: Pocket Silhouettes
Cardstock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Ink: White Stazon
Accessories: White embossing powder, heat tool, Melon Mambo ribbon
I hope this is a sign I’m going to have a more productive day today and I can make the most of the fact the kids are hiding out in the cubby they have made from bedsheets all over the loungeroom!
Cheers
